Contraband straps use silicone printed directly into the cotton weave. Wrapping the straps Over-The-Bar places the silicone against the palm, giving the athlete superior grip. Wrapping Under-The-Bar places the silicone against the bar, meaning the bar or dumbbell will not slip within the wrap.

Contraband straps are the perfect length to wrap around the bar 2-3 times depending on your preference. This allows you to wrap multiple times to cover the bar where the hand will be placed. Hick padding helps reduce pressure points and disburse the weight over the entire wrist. The length is perfect for any athlete with a small to xx-large wrist size.

Contraband lifting straps come in two sizes, STANDARD or MONSTER. Standard is the classic 1.5 in strap and perfect for everyday lifting. The standard straps are rated at 500lbs and able to handle most lifts.

For the professional athletes or advanced lifters, we have the MONSTER straps which are a 2in strap and are rated at a massive 1000lbs.

This product can be placed into cold water with a light cleaning agent, allow to soak for 15 - 30 minutes. Place product on a cool dry surface and allow to dry before using. Do NOT heat dry.
