Contraband 7419 41in loop resistance bands have a variety of uses but are mainly used for warmup, stretching, pull up assistance, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and strongman exercises. We offer a wide range of tensions to handle all kinds of applications.

Intended Use

We suggest using the lighter bands like ORANGE PURPLE, and YELLOW to stretch and do workouts at home, when traveling, or at the gym. These bands are the most versatile for workouts so we like to suggest purchasing these first if you need a resistance band to help with arms, shoulders, legs, back, and other exercises. The RED band is good for band assisted squats as well as a good starting point for an assisted pullup band, it might be too heavy for stretching or any shoulder or arm work though. BLUE, GREEN, and BLACK are reserved for special purposes, they are the heaviest tension. Just make sure you have a purpose and tried lighter bands before going with one of these.

Material Strength

Recommended max tension is suggested on the resistance chart and measured at 2x length, we suggest stretching the bands no more than 2x the unstretched length. If you are unsure, please reach out for support before purchasing so someone can help you choose the best tension for your needs.

Resistance bands can be cleaned with a damp cloth only, never soak in water or wash with abrasive cleaners.
